MILK SEPARATORS
What is a Milk Clarifier Separator?
A milk clarifier separator is used to effectively remove impurities that cannot be eliminated through coarse cleaning, such as somatic cells, blood clots, leukocytes, certain microorganisms, protein clumps rich in bacteria, and other contaminants through the clarification process. The purpose of clarifier separators is to ensure continuous and highly efficient separation of solid matter from milk.
Working Principle of a Milk Clarifier Separator:
Inside the separator, there are cone-shaped drums called bowls, which have holes in the center. When these drums rotate at a certain speed, denser substances settle at the bottom of the drum. The less dense milk, on the other hand, flows through the central hole and exits as clean milk.
